Overview
Ascend is an Ancient Power that Link can use while underneath terrain or buildings so long as the targeted surface is relatively flat, Link is close enough to the surface, and nothing would obstruct Link on the other side, this is indicated via the portal turning green. When Link uses the ability, he will rise upward through the material above him and appear on the other side. This can be used to quickly gain altitude or escape from dangerous situations. When Ascending from the depths to the surface, it can only be used under Ascend points, which are giant columns with the bottom side having a ring-like patterns.
Link will have an opportunity to confirm if he wishes to Ascend through an Object after seeing what is on the other side of the selected Object, allowing him to abort a potentially risky move if needed. However, after a period of time (30 seconds) he will automatically complete the ascent.
During the ascend sequence, everything else will freeze.
