Template:Dungeon Katah Chuki Shrine, designated by the Trial name A Minor Test of Strength, is an Ancient Shrine in Breath of the Wild.

Entrance to the Shrine

Katah Chuki Shrine is surrounded by rocky outcrops in the Quarry Ruins in Hyrule Field. As Link enters the Ancient Shrine, he is greeted by the Shrine's Monk, Katah Chuki.[1]

Themes and Navigation

Katah Chuki Shrine features a large, central chamber which acts as an arena. As Link approaches the center of the arena, a Guardian Scout II wielding an Guardian Spear will rise from a pit to challenge Link. In order to reach Katah Chuki, Link must defeat the Guardian Scout II to cause a portcullis separating him from the Monk to rise. Once Link has done so, Katah Chuki will give him a Spirit Orb for completing the Trial,[2] and afterwards will wish Link well before fading away.[3]

A Treasure Chest behind the portcullis contains a Royal Halberd.
