Great Flood

Should this not be moved to a page entitle 'Great Flood' or 'The Great Flood', not the short uncapitalized 'Great flood' that it currently is? - M E L C H I Z E D E K  (TALK) 03:51, 19 December 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]

No "the". Never have "the" in it. But capitalize the "f" in flood.Emma (Talk) 04:09, December 19, 2008 (UTC)

The first part of this article is not "theory," it's actually facts (until after the "find a new land" part). This gives the assumption that even the Great Flood itself is a fan-based theory, when in reality it's confirmed by the game itself. Dany36 18:22, 6 March 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Moved. Also, I remember the king saying something, but you're right, I'm pretty sure that wasn't quite it. Do you happen to know the actual quote? Jimbo Jambo 18:57, 6 March 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I read the in-game quotes and the King doesn't directly tell them to find a new land. Zelda is the one that comes up with the idea and says, "[...]You could come with us! Yes, of course...[...] We WILL find it! The land that will be the next Hyrule!" And that's when the King says that it will be "their" land, not Hyrule. Rewrite

Hey guys, just wanted to let you know I am helping to rewrite the article as I find the time to do so. I have to get off here to do some things, but I will be working more on this article in the coming days. It's not finished yet, there's still a lot to do with it. But if any of you would like to help in the effort, it would be very welcome and appreciated. Link87 17:19, 19 June 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

As always, I'll be happy to assist in adding references to this article. :D By the way, I haven't been too active this past week, but is the Labrynna article done? That way I can get started with adding sources on that one while you work with this one. Dany36 18:03, 19 June 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I'm very glad to hear you can help with the references once again Dany. As for Labrynna, it is coming along nicely, though it's only about 1/2 to 3/4 of the way done. I still have some of the locations to finish and the dungeons and races. I may also try to add some pictures to Labrynna's article as well. I know what you mean, I need to finish work on Labrynna before worrying too much about the Great Flood. But I have gotten a start on this one at least and the foundation is laid for me to begin immediate work on it as soon as I'm done with Labrynna. The Great Flood shouldn't take nearly as long as Labrynna either, so that's one good piece of news. But I will be finishing up work on Labrynna within the next few days, and I will send a message to you notifying you about the completion. Thanks again for your help, I do appreciate it as always. Article content removal

This article, though thorough in description, was full of superfluous language, and unneccesary sentence modifiers that only seems to have existed to extend the size of the article. I believe I was able to cut out enough of the article without losing any meaning. A previous edit had taken out the Aftermath section, and I agree that was a good move, for the most part. That section simply acted as a retelling of The Wind Waker itself, and was not relevant to the Great Flood itself. A simple link to The Wind Waker page would suffice for the majority of that section, although I kept the bits that were relevant to the Great Flood itself. — ciprianotalk 23:24, 20 September 2010 (EDT)
