Mothra

the Lttp mothula reminds me of mothra, from godzilla....... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.63.202.211 21:16, 26 June 2007

It's similar in more than looks- compare the name to Mothra's original Japanese moniker- Mosura. See the similarity? Dinosaur bob 22:47, 4 October 2007 (EDT)
They probally based Mothula off Mothra's design. Thats why they look and even sound so much alike. Heroofstuff 7:15 pm. May 12, 2008
That's what I'm thinking. So would it be all right if I added it in in a trivia section? Dinosaur bob 17:39, 3 September 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Just a note

I'd just like to say that I beat Mothula without a fairy or a green potion :D--Green 17:00, 2 January 2008 (EST)

Trivia dispute

I've locked this page due to edit warring. Taligo has attempted to add the following statement to the Trivia section:

Due to its attack methods and its appearance, the Spirit Tracks version could be a mix between Mothula and Wizzrobe, because Mothula has never summon other enemies or use the teleport.

Please discuss the relevance and factual accuracy here and reach an agreement. Thanks Adam [ talk ] 14:38, 16 July 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Well, the fact is sort of correct, but I just don't think it's something worth putting in the trivia. Maybe saying the fact that the Mothula has never summoned anything in the Spirit Tracks section of the page would be the best thing to do. ZENOX T C 15:06, 16 July 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Mothula in Spirit Tracks only behave like its counterparts in other games. He has always used magic and summon other enemies. Here is Mothula in Spirit Tracks at 6:50, and in Oracle of Seasons. Here is two Mothula in Spirit Tracks at 6:30, and the Mothula from the Palace of the Four Swords. Here is Wizzrobes at 2:05, and Mothula in the Wind Waker. Is this piece of trivia really that important to be "edit warring" over it? It doesn't really add or subtract from the article, so I'm indifferent to leaving it or throwing it out. — ciprianotalk 16:41, 16 July 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Yeah, I thought the same thing, it isn't really that big of a deal, but whatever. I personally think it should be removed altogether. ZENOX T C 17:33, 16 July 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

—Preceding unsigned comment added by Taligo (talk) 12:28, 17 July 2010

Tienes razón, pero no creo que alguien consiga entender lo que dices, porque aquí la mayoría no es de habla hispana. --K2L 15:00, 17 July 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Puedes hablar en Ingles si es posible?User:Justin ZW/sig 03:56, 18 July 2010 (UTC)
You could have asked that in english =P. Anyway, the user (perhaps anonymous, but I dunno since he/she didn't sign) complained that the above flame war (sorta) causes so much fuss, and said that Mothula only resembles Gamoth in face, for they have different wings, and the latter flies in all the games it appears, except in "this game" where it moves floating (the game is not specified, it may be named in the above section, but i'm not sure since I didn't read anything about this dispute). --K2L 04:15, 18 July 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

(Translation)C'mon

First of all, I've seen things much stupider in other articles (have you seen the theory about the Gorons?). Second of all, Gamoth flies in all of the other games. He doesn't fly here using his wings, he glides over. Third of all, the only thing he has of Gamoth is the face because the wings are different and it looks like he doesn't need them to fly. Finally, the Spirit Tracks version has the symbol from Ganon in The Wind Waker, but since a clown has closed the page, I can't put it in. (From comment above) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Taligo (talk) 13:16, 17 July 2010

Yeah you're right, the one about the spike that fall to become another Goron should also be removed. Jeangabin 17:26, 17 July 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Did you translate the text from Internet? =/ The Spanish-speaking user didn't say "a clown closed the page" but "a clown locked the page" (it doesn't matter anyway since he/she seemed to insult someone. Cue user blocking =(). --K2L 04:18, 18 July 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Just to be clear, our Spanish-speaking friend above is the same one that was involved in the edit war that resulted in the page having to be locked. I've removed the protection, so any relevant missing info can now be added. Please edit more responsibly in future, so this "clown" isn't forced to step in again.
