No mention of Twilight Symphony ?

I was reading through the ZREO article and all seemed to be in order except for one thing, there was no mention of the group's newest effort Twilight Symphony, you can view the trailer at the site, I would make an article on it but writing is not where I shine, I prefer to edit and recommend to others that sections for things be added Roxas2080 16:53, 15 July 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Hmm...well, I'm not sure why you removed the part that you wrote about the Twilight Symphony... I'll add it back in if you don't mind, it was pretty good! :) Dany36 01:41, 16 July 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Sure if you really think it was that good Roxas2080 01:44, 16 July 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Sandbox

Sorry for bringing this unsolicited section, but can you look here, please? It's an experimental version of the Boomerang page where I show a better proposal of how the page could be improved. I also added some pieces of info, capitalized the word Boomerang (it isn't in the actual version) and obviously lacks the ex-featured thing because it's just a test. Thanks for your time, and reply me back (no pun intended =P). --K2L 03:28, 18 July 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Will do! After I get patrolling, that is. XD I saw it earlier but I didn't have time to get on the computer until now. I'll make sure to look it after I take care of the patrol log. :) Dany36 03:29, 18 July 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
OK, no problem! Take your time =). --K2L 03:31, 18 July 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
K, I just saw it. There are a few things here and there that need to be changed, such as the A Link to the Past link not being capitalized and italicized in the Typical Boomerangs section or the off-placed image of TP below the Gale Boomerang. I'm not sure I like the whole randomly-bolded words/sentences in the article. I know it's to sort of give the reader a better clue on how the boomerangs in each section work, but I think the message will get across by just placing it at the beginning of the section without bolding it. ;) Anyway, I'm not really too good at this whole reorganization thing...hopefully Cip will be able to give you more insight than me! XD Dany36 05:32, 18 July 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
The bolded parts came from the original article (notice that most of the original content is intact), but that can be fixed. The GB image can be either reduced of placed in, maybe, the Gallery section? Anyway, I can keep editing the sandbox to improve it (but not now, I need to sleep as it's already 1:18 am here in Venezuela =)). Feels good to know in advance what needs to be changed before aditing an actual article. --K2L 05:48, 18 July 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Hmmm Odd

Any idea who the real culprit is behind the "bulbapedia" article deletion? PureLocke(User/Talk) 20:33, 10 August 2010 (EDT)

Nope. Probably someone with who was bored and had too much time on their hands trying to blame Bulbapedia for their boredom. :P Dany36 20:36, 10 August 2010 (EDT)
I was over at Wikirby earlier today and Axiomist was gearing up for vandalism protection back in April, apparently a person or persons were trying to get some friction going between the NIWA members. Some MO, "blame bulbapedia" probably not related though. PureLocke(User/Talk) 20:57, 10 August 2010 (EDT)
Hahaha, well, if this is their idea of "creating friction" between NIWA members, then it is pretty pathetic! It'll take more than that. Dany36 21:01, 10 August 2010 (EDT)

Link's Awakening Trading Sequence

Hey Dany. I've done some badly-needed editing on the Link's Awakening Trading Sequence article you flagged for improvement last month. I believe I've doctored it up enough to remove the template. Just thought I'd let you know in case you wanted to look over it and see if it meets your standards now.

Have a nice day! Hylian King 07:09, 29 August 2010 (EDT)

Sorry for the late reply, I've been pretty busy lately. I'll check it out this weekend. :) By the way, if you feel the article is now up to the wiki's standards, then feel free to remove the template yourself. You don't really need to ask for permission or anything. ;) See you around! Dany36 08:38, 2 September 2010 (EDT)

Minor request

You wouldn't mind moving this file to "Link_and_the_King_of_Red_Lions_Figurine_TWW.png", would you? I never knew "&" was an invalid character.
I never got to thank you for swiftly removing all the images I marked for deletion. And for constantly giving praise. I'm sure you know how much the little ones appreciate it. ^_^ User:Minion/sig 08:12, 5 September 2010 (EDT)

Of course, no problem! Your images are REALLY awesome, and I don't think I ever thanked you for uploading those images that I requested...they are sooooo incredible and high-res. *-* Seriously! And as for moving that image name, I'll have to try and remember how to move a file with the "&" on it because somehow it won't let me...but it'll get done, no doubt. :P Thanks again for the images! :] Dany36 11:33, 5 September 2010 (EDT)
Thank you, that's perfect. And don't worry about it, I just try to do my best. If there's anything you need from me, don't hesitate to ask. Oort of curiosity, is there a way I can join the ZW public Skype chat? I've already added Mases, but we never really got to talk about it (or anything, really :P). I'd very much appreciate getting in ^_^ User:Minion/sig 05:38, 6 September 2010 (EDT)
Oh, sweet! Glad to hear that you want to join the chat. :) Right now I can't really use skype since I'm using the school's computer, but you can add Mandi, Matt, or Justin and they'll add you to the chat. They're one of our most active Skype users, so, yeah. See you there! Dany36 10:46, 6 September 2010 (EDT)

In Regards to the Green Potion

If all of the potions are on the same page, why do Red Potion and Blue Potion have their own pages? Pokemainiac 12:36, 29 October 2010 (EDT)

Ah! I forgot about those. I'm not sure what the decision was so that the Red and Blue Potion should have their own page, I was under the [wrong] impression that all of the potions had been placed in the same article. But I guess more can be said about the Red and Blue Potion than the Green Potion? Anyway, instead of just splitting articles, we usually have a discussion in the article's talk page whether that's the best option or not. That way we allow users to voice in their opinion, so feel free to start a talk page discussion about that. Dany36 12:39, 29 October 2010 (EDT)

My userpage

Why did you delete it? Are userpages not allowed to interwiki redirect? --SnorlaxMonster 08:28, 18 November 2010 (EST)

Oh, wow....I don't even remember deleting it, so I can't even remember why. XD My apologies! I'll restore it now. Dany36 10:02, 18 November 2010 (EST)

Info moving

Hi, I have a question. Some of the pages related to the episodes of the animated Zelda series describe said episodes' goofs or mistakes. I was thinking about moving those pieces of info here, which for now focuses on the games. What do you say? =) --K2L (Interrogatory) 23:05, 2 December 2010 (EST)

Hmm...having the info on both pages wouldn't be bad. ;) Dany36 23:07, 2 December 2010 (EST)
Done. Copied the info from the involved pages, and then specified from which episode each goof comes from. --K2L (Interrogatory) 23:24, 2 December 2010 (EST)

Image deletion

Hi, Dany, I noticed you've deleted a few images that uploaded, such as [[File:OoA Map Symmetry Village.png]]. I'm assuming it's because they weren't being used? I did plan on using them later on, but totally forgot about about 'em. Oops! My bad! I re-uploaded some of them and they're actually being used now, so I hope it's not a problem.

Anyways, I wanted to ask you in particular about [[File:OoA Map Nuun Highlands (Ricky).png]] and [[File:OoA Map Nuun Highlands (Moosh).png]], which where being used along with [[File:OoA Map Nuun Highlands (Dimitri).png]] on the OOA Translations page. I wanted to ask if you had any particular reason to delete them, since they were being used. I'm asking so as to not run the risk of pissing you off by re-uploading them. :P — Hylian King [*] 20:01, 15 December 2010 (EST)

Oh...my bad! D: Yeah I was just deleting anything that was in the unused images page, so yeah...sorry! D: And I have no idea why I deleted those images if they were being used....sorry about that too. I guess I got carried away. :P Dany36 20:08, 15 December 2010 (EST)
Completely understandable, you're just doing your job (and doing it very well, might I add). I realize now that for some reason when I use the <choose> tags to make it show one of the three images randomly, one one of them shows up as being used. I guess I'll just have to put 'em on my userpage somewhere so they don't get deleted again... Dany36 00:14, 4 January 2011 (EST)

New field for the Places template

First and foremost, happy new year =D. Now, I am thinking on adding a new field to the infobox of the Places template, it's the Quest Reward(s) field that is now in the Dungeon infobox. As you know, some of the major quest items in the series are found outside the dungeons (such as the Light Medallion in OOT, Nayru's Pearl and Triforce Charts in TWW, or the number of Pieces of Heart in every place where they are). However, being this a rarity in comparison to the quest items awarded in the dungeons, I would like to consult an admin if it's a good idea. Thanks in advance, and please give the new year's greet to the ZW staff for me =) --K2L (Interrogatory) 00:21, 4 January 2011 (EST)

Happy New Year to you too! As for the quest items field, I don't think that will be necessary to add to the Place template since we already have an Item(s) field, so you can put them there. :) Dany36 00:14, 4 January 2011 (EST)
OK, thanks for the advice. By the way, before you replied, I didn't see this section after I saved the post. I checked the edit revision to see if I did something wrong, but it just wasn't visible until now. And when the section became visible and you replied, I saw your signature where mine should be O_o (though I already fixed that). This wiki is definitely haunted O_o --K2L (Interrogatory) 00:21, 4 January 2011 (EST)
Hahaha, no joke! I couldn't see it either when I came to the talk page, but it turns out that Hylian King had typed <choose> without using the nowiki tags, which caused for everything after it to disappear. XD Dany36 00:25, 4 January 2011 (EST)
Hey, good job at harmonizing the quest fields in the dungeon articles =). I have a new question: Currently, I'm trying to fill the Items field in every Place article, listing the weapons and goods you can find there. The problem is... certain items are in locations within larger places, and having their own articles. This makes me wonder if, for example, I should mention the total number of Heart Pieces in East Clock Town, including those inside Anju's Inn or the Mayor's Residence, or only the ones found in the outside part (since, technically, stuff like the Couple's Mask are inside the Inn, not necessarily in what the game identifies as "East Clock Town"). I hope you know what I'm trying to say, and thanks in advance. --K2L (Interrogatory) 16:09, 5 January 2011 (EST)
Whoops, sorry for the late reply, I get distracted easily. XD Ummmm...I'd say go with mentioning the ones that are found within other places...that makes the most sense to me. ;P Dany36

Re: Hey!

Thank you! After I'm done with LA I'm probably going to see if I can improve the articles for the Oracle games. Mainly the information for the Linked Game, which seems lacking. --AchillesAndTortoise 22:11, 21 January 2011 (EST)

Interwiki issue

Last time, I tried to switch the Wikipedia links in the Cameos of The Legend of Zelda page for NIWA links (Metroid Wiki, Super Mario Wiki, etc.) wherever necessary. It's not working with the Donkey Kong Wiki, sadly. When I use the [[dk:]] code with the intention to link the name of a DK game to its pertinent DK Wiki article, what actually happens is that MediaWiki tries to link it to a supposed Danish Zelda Wiki (!!!) that should have the Cameos page as well (!!!). This probably happens because the dk code belongs to the Danish internet domains or something. I didn't notice this when I first edited the article, but now that I did I have no idea on how to pinpoint the DK Wiki article instead of a nonexistent Danish wiki site. Ideas for a solution? Thanks in advance! --K2L (Interrogatory) 23:00, 11 February 2011 (EST)

Your theory sounds about right, even though it links to DKWiki for me, and not ZW. Still, we don't want our links in the language sidebar. You should use [[DKWiki:]] instead. — Abdullah [T] [C] [S]  23:26, 11 February 2011 (EST)
Thanks for the advice =). --K2L (Interrogatory) 23:36, 11 February 2011 (EST)
We've already changed it to a new shortcut. It happened because "dk" is reserved as language link by the wikisoftware. We don't yet know how to override this For now we just have to avoid setting up new interwiki links that use a reserved language abbreviation.Emma (Talk) 04:37, February 12, 2011 (UTC)

Zelda Chaos and NIWA

Hey, Dany36! You said something about contacting other admins of Zelda Wiki, and asking them about Zelda Chaos needing permission for applying for NIWA membership (at The Heart Container)? So... how's that been going? Thanks, Zafum 21:24, 26 March 2011 (EDT)

Hullo, Zafum! Yes, the discussion about Zelda Chaos and NIWA has started, but sadly only a few administrators and bureaucrats have spoken up about it, so we're still waiting for more opinions from the staff. Hopefully we'll have a consensus by next week! Sorry for it taking so long, I hope you understand. :) Dany36 21:31, 26 March 2011 (EDT)
That's quite alright. I just wanted to make sure this request wasn't overlooked or anything. Thanks again for your support! - Zafum 23:04, 26 March 2011 (EDT)
Hey, don't mean to horn in in your discussion here, but I just want to make sure you know we're discussing it and that it should not take more than a couple of days to get you a response, since a lot more people have given their opinion since Dany said something! :) Thanks for contacting us! --Xizor 05:56, 27 March 2011 (EDT)

So, how've things been working out with this so far? Just curious :D - Zafum 20:05, 29 March 2011 (EDT)

Screenshots

Hey Dany36, how do you take the screenshots of Majora's Mask where nothing else (controls, Link, ...) is on the screen? --Squall 03:24, 14 April 2011 (EDT)

Hullo, Squall! There's a GameShark code that lets you remove the interface. I usually mess around with the Moon Jump code to get those "overhead" shots and to get Link out of the way. ;) Dany36 11:05, 14 April 2011 (EDT)
Thanks! I've found a code which removes the interface except from the "clock" in the bottom center of the screen. How did you get this away? May I get the codes you used? ;) --Squall 18:45, 14 April 2011 (EDT)
Wow, sorry, I completely forgot to reply. Sorry about that! To get the clock off from the bottom center of the screen, you can do one of two things: press Start and capture the image right before the menu comes up, or take out the Ocarina, then put it away. The clock will be gone until Link moves. Dany36 15:25, 23 April 2011 (EDT)

Artwork

Just wondering... where does some of your artwork come from? I know some of it is available on the UK press site, but some seems to be from the European press site.--Immewnity 12:52, 23 April 2011 (EDT)

Check the source on each image, which is found right above the image history. Most of them were grabbed from Zelda Europe. Dany36 13:15, 23 April 2011 (EDT)
I see! Thanks!--Immewnity 15:09, 23 April 2011 (EDT)

Thank you very much

I'm a newbie here, thanks for your help with the image, I posted it in Dethl's section because I saw Vaati's Wrath their already and I thought I would post another resemblance as a resemblance was already their and as for the Vaati section, it took me 20 minutes to figure out how to post the Four Swords Vaati with a caption, but thanks for helping me with that too, I rip a lot of Sprites from Four Swords Adventures and I know they will be usefull for artitcals that need them ;). --Vaati The Wind Demon 17:19, 19 May 2011 (EDT)

Hey, no problem! Glad I could help. :D If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask me! Also, we look forward to the sprite work from FSA you might upload to the wiki...we really could use them! :) Happy editing! Dany36 22:58, 19 May 2011 (EDT)
I must thank you again for reverting my page after Hua220 spammed it, I'm in your debt, thank you very much. --Vaati The Wind Demon 10:01, 24 May 2011 (EDT)

Majora's Mask/Saria's Song.

Oh, I'm sorry! I just thought it would work as an example due to the fact of how I thought it should or could have italicized. Just to me I thought it seemed a little bit silly, but thanks for the short little miss I made in my edit, again, my apologies. User: Hylian Historic

Thanks

Hey, man, thanks for helping me on the page The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, I actually am watching over the page, but you can help, with the links to the urls. Anyways, we will work together and finish the thing, okay.

--Smasher 17:15, 9 June 2011 (EDT)Smasher

No problem! :D I do what I can. XD Dany36 20:57, 9 June 2011 (EDT)

Sorry for the stubs

Hey, it's Tigerstripesk8. I'm sorry, this is the first wiki site I've ever edited on. Thanks for the pointers, that's a great idea. I'll start consolidating the items, and work on learning how to redirect properly. :3

No need to apologize! You're learning as you go, so there's no shame in that. Thank you for your cooperation, and if you have any other questions, then please don't hesitate to ask me or any other active member! :) Dany36 11:05, 13 June 2011 (EDT)
